At the time, there were numerous pottery manufacturers, each selling a variety of designs. The attractive use of glazes and timeless designs are popular worldwide.

Scheurich is one of Germany's leading ceramic manufacturers of the Golden Age (1950s-1980s). Founded in 1954 in Kleinheubach by Alois Scheurich, the company quickly grew to become Germany's largest ceramic manufacturer. The company continues to operate today, but now focuses on gardening tools.
